1st WINE CELLAR BERNAL FAMILY

Although we ignore the exact date of the foundation of the 1st Bodega of the Bernal Family, we can verify that, during the reign of Carlos III, already appeared vineyards in his name.

We invite you to know completely how the wine was made and preserved in one of its first wineries, that dates approximately from 1850. It still contains all kinds of tools and materials used during that time and that we can now meet.

TASTING GOLDEN WINE + CANAPES

In this winery located 20 minutes from Cartagena everything was done in a traditional way, like the collection of the grapes in their own vineyards (grape merseguera blanca) keeping the skin and pulp so that in contact with the wine would take that characteristic golden color of this area, this golden wine called “Ara Pacis” was also bottled, both in 1⁄2-liter bottles and in Chessel-style earthenware amphorae, which we will be able

to taste during the whole visit along with some delicious canapés.
