From its Roman origin as Capus Paludis, coming to mean “Cape of the lagoon” in clear allusion to the nearby Mar Menor and to the stagnation of its waters, until the modern era when the first permanent settlers, fishermen from the island of Tabarca, settled down at the end of the 19th century, we will review everything that surrounds this wonderful enclave on the coast of Cartagena.
