The Turrón Museum, which is an institution that integrates the brands of El Lobo, 1880, Doña Jimena, and Imperial Toledana. This jijonenco food group offers us its museum so that we can learn the history of nougat, its different varieties and history from the Sirvent Selfa family, turroneros since 1725. An experience for the senses where we will travel to the past smelling of honey and almonds to discover one of the oldest sweets in the world. The museum is distributed in three floors in which utensils and utensils are exhibited. Processes are explained according to the following distribution: Upper floor Raw materials (sugar, honey, almond and eggs) Intermediate plantProcesses (Jijona and Alicante nougat, marzipans) Bottom plantProduct marketing (stalls, advertising, packaging, history of the company, local history) The visit ends in the museum shop with a personalized tasting and the possibility of buying some erdo. The duration of the entire visit is approximately 50-60 minutes. Once this first visit is over, we will leave for Busot, where we will find one of the main tourist attractions not only of Busot, but of the entire province of Alicante, Las Cuevas de Canelobre, located 700 meters above sea level on the northern slopes of the Sierra Cabeçó D'Or - one of the few Jurassic reliefs of the Prebetic in the province - these are a magnificent example of karstic cavity. Inside the caves there is a space of more 80,000 m2 to which we will access by a tunnel of 45 meters, in which water and rock have given rise to impressive forms such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns and jellyfish, among many others. The Canelobre Caves are home to one of the highest vaults in all of Spain, with a height of 70 meters, what looks like the authentic vault of a cathedral. As outstanding elements we can observe 'La Sagrada Familia', a group that features a rocky column over 25 meters high, and 'El Canelobre', a stalagmite in the center of the room that is more than 100,000 years old years.This guided tour lasts about 40-45 minutes, so, later, we will take the bus again to go to eat.
